These chapters in Exodus are filled with instructions for Aaron and his sons to serve God as priests. God gives amazing detail once again to how He wants certain things done to make atonement for the people of Israel. One thing that spoke to me reading these chapters, is how God sets certain things apart only to be use when approaching his holiness. Exodus 28:36 shows the words HOLY TO THE LORD engraved on a seal. Sometimes I can easily forget that our Lord is a Holy God and I will give him the left overs of my life, when he truly deserves the best and everything.
prayer: O Holy and mighty LORD. forgive me when my mind drifts away from your holiness. Help me to be holy for you are holy. I give you praise and thanks for your Loving atonement Jesus Christ whom through I can now approach your holy throne. Holy spirit strengthen my heart to seek holiness today. In your precious name Jesus I pray, Amen.
